Puppeteers Without Borders is an international organization promoting growth, change and conflict-management through the art of puppetry. Our aim is to empower communities around the world to deal with sensitive issues through the magical art of puppetry. Our focus is health education, family planning, non-violent communication, environmental topics, cultural diversity and human rights.

To promote health education, family planning, non-violent communication, environmental awareness, cultural diversity and human rights by empowering communities through puppetry arts.

OUTREACH TRAINING

We train professionals to apply puppetry in their specific work environment. We collaborate with medical doctors and educators to widen the scope of their work and ours.

WHY PUPPETRY?

The puppet is a powerful communication tool. A puppet can talk about any subject, including difficult topics and taboos.  By being universal, truthful, outspoken and direct, puppets can have an impact that person-to-person communication may otherwise feel difficult or uncomfortable. The strong emotional reaction puppets evoke encourages the process of change in communities.
